   ::
   :::: there IS NO TERRORIST THREAT.
   :::
   ::: You are a complete fucking MORON!! Have you heard of the World Trade
   ::: Center? Those were terrorists you imbecile. Would you like to see
   ::: another 4-5 thousand deaths? Would that make you a believer? You are
   ::: pathetic.
   ::
   :: and, as i pointed out in the part you snipped, every other cause of
   :: death you could think of off the top of your head was more of a
   :: threat to Americans in 2001 than terrorism. there is no more threat
   :: now than there has ever been - less, in fact, since Bush did what
   :: Osama wanted and pulled our troops out of Saudi Arabia.
   :
   : So you are saying terrorism doesn't exist or should be ignored because
   : people were more likely to die from, and I credit you for the quote
   : you here...
   :
   : - from pneumonia (1 in 4,500)
   : - by suicide (1 in 9,200)
   : - in a homicide (1 in 14,000)
   : - in a car accident (1 in 6,500)
   :
   : The HUGE difference here is that terrorism is a PLANNED event to kill
   : as many people as possible. I really don't like the fact that you are
   : dismissing the 2000+ deaths of the people in the WTCs, Pentagon and
   : on those aircraft. It was an attack on the USA, and on mostly
   : civilian targets. Thankfully there were a few brave people board one
   : aircraft or you would have to adjust your numbers a bit.
   : Another factor is the loss of the WTCs and how that impacted the
   : economy. It was a huge impact.

   i'm not saying terrorism doesn't exist, you moron. i'm saying it's not
   the "ORANGE ALERT!!! DANGER DANGER DANGER!!!" crap that Rumsfeld wants
   you to think it is. they make it sound like anyone, at any time, is
   subject to an instantaneous and painful death at the hands of a
   terrorist.

   you know full well that i'm not dismissing the deaths of any Americans -
   my brother-in-law was very close the trade center on 9/11. hell, even i
   find myself eyeing people suspiciously in airports if they happen to
   look like those who murdered nealry 3,000 of our citizens.

   but i am not stupid. i was never convinced that Iraq was tied with
   al-Qaeda (they're not), or that Iraq had WMDs (they didn't). why would
   i believe that terrorists are actively out to get us? especially
   considering Bush's capitulation to Osama's demand that our troops be
   removed from Saudi Arabia... after all, that was why he attacked us on
   9/11 - our troops in his country... now that they're not there, what
   else does he have to be pissed about? any other terrorists that want to
   attack us NOW are a byproduct of Bush's foreign policy.

   --
   Some of us feel that Mr. Bush will find the real liars about the Iraq
   war and about the economy on the same day that O. J. turns up the real
   murderers.
