   To judge, which is essentially forming an opinion through consideration of   
   relevant observations, is not what is being counseled against in the bible.   
      
   What is counseled against is condemning those you judge.

   to declare to be reprehensible, wrong, or evil usually after weighing evidence   
   and without reservation   
      
   I believe you are correct in your judgment that the poster crossed the line   
   into condemnation with his personal attacks.  Too bad, I thought it was a good
