Prices of everything are running up now due to obsessive, excess       money printing, politely known as QE. Which is not actually being tapered, by       the way. They've        relocated the program to Belgium and they're hoping no one notices that a tiny       little country known for cheese and interesting ale has suddenly, inexplicably       become the third largest holder of American debt on the planet almost       overnight.               Coming soon to a retail outlet near you: Obvious, visible inflation, which the       media will ignore until they can't ignore it any more, and are dragged kicking       and screaming into reporting on it as vaguely as possible. They will then       announce that it's "       Healthy" for us to be paying $4.50 for a loaf of bread. They'll even find a       couple brain damaged economists to sell the public on it and act kinda       surprised that so many people didn't know that crippling inflation was good       for them. They will have to go        this route, because if inflation is anything other than wonderful, the Fed       will have to raise interest rates to deal with it, and they're not going to do       that. The powers that be don't just like the free money that QE provides;       they're sucking on it like        it was a crack pipe and at this point, they'll let the world burn down if       that's what it takes to keep the gravy train rolling.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
