From: usenet.16@scottsonline.org.uk.invalid              I'm puzzled by iperf3's throughput figures.              My sole wireless client is a Dell inspiron laptop (15/3000). I've been       checking throughput via our fritzbox 3490 to other machines on our home lan.              Sending data from the laptop seems to be systematically about 20% slower       than sending to the laptop. typically ~100Mb/s as opposed to 120Mb/s.       It also seems to fluctuate a lot more too.              Can anyone suggest why this might be please?       2.4GHz band, Mint 20.2 on the laptop; mint 20/21, raspbian, freebsd as       wired clients. (Just tested, BTW, with the lappy about 10 feet from the AP)              --       Mike Scott       Harlow, England       asymmetric wireless speeds              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
