   It is now a little past last quarter moon, so we are at the   
   beginning of waning crescent.   
      
   It is now about 2.5 days before the opening of COP26   
   on October 31, though the associated World Leaders   
   Summit is not until November 1 and 2. But there is   
   also a G20 summit on October 30 and 31.
