   These usenet groups are outdated in the same sense CB radio is   
    legacy to the iPhone & Facebook. But on alt.magick we are   
    experiencing a new period of peace and open sharing. The trolls   
    have left! But what is even more exciting, is the number of   
    newsgroup channels that have gone dark. Instead of arguing on   
    sci.physics just start posting to one of the thousands of   
    unclaimed newsgroups no one uses. This is my first post after   
    configuring my mobile phones usenet app. The trick was setting   
    the maximum number of posts to download before subscribing. I'm   
    thinking I will resubscribe to frugal usenet next to get greater   
    retention.
