   Yes, but in that mythology the salmon represents either   
   the waning crescent moon or the waxing crescent moon,   
   both of which are shaped like a salmon. And Fionn   
   tasting the Salmon of Wisdom after seven years is   
   equivalent to the Buddha reaching enlightenment   
   after seven ascetic years.
