   May 28, 2025.   
      
   I observed P- for a while but it has faded, so I have failed yet again.   
      
   I plan to try again during early waxing crescent tomorrow evening,   
   even though the forecast is for clouds so I probably won’t be able   
   to sight the moon. Also I had hoped to catch the first set   
   of Rachel Cousins at The Black Sheep followed by two sets   
   (plus an open mic set in between) of Dave Panting Plus at   
   Folk Night at The Ship Pub. And I won’t start a new attempt   
   now since it is 2:55 a.m. and I have to get up by 7 a.m. to   
   give our cat Sam his liquid (with food) kidney medication   
   (my early rising sister and her husband are both out of town),   
   though I can then go back to bed for a few hours.   
      
   Surely I have to be let off the hook eventually?
