|    Sex Magick    |

From: street@shellcrash.com              Sex magick is often misunderstood, but at its heart it is simply the       practice of working with sexual energy in intentional ways. Biology       provides us with strong drives and responses, yet when those forces are       guided instead of merely followed, they become a source of power. Science       explains how touch, reproduction, and arousal operate; magick begins when       that same energy is deliberately redirected into transformation,       creation, or ritual.              This article explores ways the body can become an instrument of sex       magick. These ordinary biological processes can be harnessed, redirected,       and devoted to magickal working.              The feet contain thousands of nerve endings, making them extremely       sensitive to pressure and touch. The sexual organs are also rich with       nerves, both linking back into the same nervous system pathways that       influence pain, relaxation, and arousal. Because of this, stimulating the       feet can sometimes echo sensations associated with more intimate areas of       the body.              From a biological standpoint, massage improves circulation and eases       muscular tension. Releasing this tension can calm the nervous system and       reduce the body’s perception of pain. But beyond the physical, the act of       foot massage carries intimacy and trust. In magickal terms, this release       of blockages and the soothing of nerves can be seen as freeing energy.       What was bound in pain or stress is loosened, and that current of energy       becomes available to be directed toward healing, intention, or ritual       focus.              A vasectomy is a safe and effective procedure that prevents sperm from       mixing with semen, ending the possibility of biological fatherhood while       leaving sexual function unchanged. Testosterone, desire, and pleasure       remain intact. Only the ability to cause pregnancy is removed.              Scientifically, it is a matter of fertility control. Magickally, it is an       act of redirection. The choice not to create life biologically means that       energy once tied to reproduction can be applied elsewhere into projects,       relationships, or spiritual practice. It is a conscious cutting of one       potential pathway, freeing vitality for others.              This conscious redirection is itself a form of magick. The procedure       embodies intention in physical form: a decision that life energy will not       flow into children, but into chosen creations.              Abstinence is the temporary choice to refrain from sex. It is the only       birth control method that is absolutely effective when practiced fully.       Physiologically, avoiding ejaculation allows semen to build up and be       reabsorbed by the body.              Where vasectomy closes a door permanently, abstinence simply pauses the       flow. Yet the principle is the same. Sexual energy is brought under       conscious control.              Magickally, abstinence acts as a reservoir. Energy that would normally be       released is instead held, concentrated, and available to be directed       toward other work. This is why periods of abstinence have historically       been linked to prayer, ritual, and creative pursuits. The discipline       itself becomes a training in focus, preparing the practitioner to move       energy where it is most needed.              In male physiology, orgasm and ejaculation usually coincide, often       followed by a refractory period of lowered arousal. However, with       practice, it is possible to continue beyond one’s own climax, focusing       instead on the partner’s arousal and release.              Scientifically, this creates benefits for the relationship: women often       take longer to climax, and extended stimulation improves the likelihood       of shared satisfaction. Neurochemicals like oxytocin are released through       prolonged touch, deepening trust and bonding.              In magickal terms, the act of continuing after one’s own climax       transforms instinct into intention. Energy that might otherwise dissipate       is sustained, redirected, and shared. This shift from self-release to       partner-focus channels energy into the bond itself. The sexual act       becomes not just an endpoint, but a space of shared power where the       heightened state of one body feeds into the awakening of another.              Sex magick is not separate from science. It is what happens when biology       is directed with purpose. The nerves in the feet, the decision of       vasectomy, the restraint of abstinence, and continuing after climax, all       show different ways energy can be released, conserved, or redirected.              Magick enters when that energy is not left to chance but devoted       consciously to intention. Whether healing, creating, or strengthening       connection.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
