Curious you mention the Yeti; in the scifi pulp novel I've bought a few weeks
ago,
from Eliiot Dooley -which is just an English literary alias from some
Spaniard- wrote
"Los centinelas" (The Sentinels), which it's about some expedition to the
Himalaya
and they discover that the Yeti are just advanced aliens as that old novel
from Ray Bradbury with the SuperLords or whatever they were called.
There's no English translation but current translation tools can almost
perfectly
