   "Guest 1032" seems to be Serbian, and, as the first line (attribution)   
   of his article used Serbian, Google Groups offered to translate the   
   article.  Not only did it mess up the translation of the Serbian   
   attribution, but it also "translated" the (incorrect) batch line   
   quoted above to   
     echo% time% ~ 0.2%    
   which is even worse.   
      
   Moral : If translation may have occurred, read code from the original   
   article.   
      
   As I wrote in December, the solution then provided works correctly;   
   it is in frequent use.
