   This isn't email. This also isn't (just) Google. This is Usenet. It operates   
   under its own *very* loose set of rules. If your news service (in your case,   
   Google) doesn't filter out junk posts, it's up to you, either via your   
   newsreader (which does *not* include viewing it in a browser via Google   
   Groups) or via your brain.
