   That's not enough information to make even an educated guess. Does it throw   
   the error on the first iteration or a later one? Try putting a pause (or an   
   exit and run it with cmd /c batchname.bat) at the end of the subroutine. Then   
   capture (copy) the    
   first iteration of the procedure to paste into a posting to show us what is   
   happening on your machine.    
      
   I say that because Todd's routine works fine on my Win7 equipped machine and I   
   can't think of a condition to make it fail. There is something different in   
   you situation that we need to see to be able to troubleshoot this problem.
