   Sorry, I am unable to reproduce your error here in WinXP.   
      
   Please post a screen capture of the actual error message and a few lines   
   of output (if any).   
      
      
   BTW, although this has no bearing on the stated error, the (~) tildes   
   can be removed from that line. I originally had them followed by nx to   
   feed only the names to the subroutine, but decided before posting to   
   move them into the :process subroutine to retain the full paths in the   
   subroutine in case you found out later that you needed them to process   
   the files.   
      
   Also, thanks to Tom for for confirming it works in Win7 as it does for me.
