Task scheduler will run the task the next       time you log in, if you use       > Windows.              Obviously I expressed myself unclearly. This is not a technical issue,       which is reasonably simple, but a sociological one, i.e. what I wish to       commit my computers to. For me this is a question of the level of       involvement. Automated scripts sending material to the community are       best suited to an outside server, not to my personal computer, however       trivial and convenient technically. I'll keep my finger manually on the       button. (Besides, the news servers are sporadic, so maybe it is not so       trivial, after all.)              The point is becoming more and more moot, anyway, since mostly only the       knowledgeable regulars are left. They know what to find where in any       case. Furthermore, my own interests have changed. Since my retirement       two years ago this one certainly is not the only or the biggest thing       where I have or am going to downshift.               All the best, Timo              --       Prof. (emer.)
