   I'm not "bickering" with anyone, good sir - I made a suggestion about using   
   the system DATE variable as a way to produce [unique] filenames, as the   
   original question was about duplicate filename problems that might occur,   
   whilst using batch to make copies of files. I was then told that my   
   suggestion was [crap] ineffectual as the system [short] DATE variable used   
   "slashes"...!!
