From: abayer@sofort-mail.de              Is it possible to make a dos variable from a first windows dos box available       for a second dos box?              I want to set the name of a backup subdir in a bat file executed at startup,       and have it available in subsequent dos boxes the user might open later on       during the rest of the day.              OK, I know I could write it in a file and read it out later, but I would       like to know if it could be done in memory, f.e. by adding a switch to the       cmd command, or something like that.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
