From: abayer@sofort-mail.de              > If you run the Window's (XP and above) HELP AND SUPPORT Centre (from the       > Start Menu), and then, within it, conduct a search, for; "command line       > a-z", and, from in the results, pick out; COMMAND-LINE REFERENCE A-Z and       > click on it (once up, add it to the "Help Centre's Favourites", once you       > found it!)...              Thanks for your help.              I have a German languaged Windows Vista but cannot find something what       represents "command line a-z", not the possible translations and not even       something with "a-z" alone. There are a few topics for the translated topic       'command line', but none of them has something like a list of commands, and       even the search for the translation of 'reference' does return anything.              Addionally the help & support center dialog here does not have any menu       item, button, hotspot, or any other function to store a found answer in a       favourites list. *If* a good answer could be found at all.              But on the other side searching for different translations for command line       parameter I found at last something other I have serached for a long time:       the task manager's column headers meaning. Don't know what's the correlation       with command line but it's good to read it (and to copy & paste it since       there's no chance to remember otherwise).              Maybe I should now search for other incoherent terms to find the full       command list some day? :-)              Sorry for my frustration. That's why I rarely use Microsoft's "help"       systems - mostly they don't provide a reasonable information.              Nevertheless, I appreciated your help, thank you very much, and I stay       searching....              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
