   The registry settings within the registry-key :   
      
   [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop]   
      
   ...as the names of the values within suggest, are all settings to do with   
   how your desktop looks, e.g.; wallpaper, choice of screensaver, colors and   
   sizes of windows and borders, etc...   
    So you can't really do any serious damage of any kind if you experiment   
   within the "Desktop" key.
