   People are throwing away computers with later operating system on them, on   
   freecycle and council hard   
   rubbish collections.  The bulk of them are probably far faster than a Win 98   
   era PC - can you score one   
   of them?   
      
   Then you can develop some apps in VB script using WSH and enjoy the better   
   operation of something like XP.
