   To do it in a more failsafe manner it's best to boot of a dos 6.22 floppy disk   
   or cdrom and issue   
   the command   
      
   sys c:   
      
   and assuming the bootable doover has sys.exe on it - or you can use this where   
   the c: drive has   
   c:\dos and the sys.exe after booting from the boot device:   
      
   c:\dos\sys c:
