   Tom, I know nothing about PBS Vision. If contacting Passport directly   
   provides no solution, and since this issue relates to a single user, it   
   seems reasonably simple enough to go into Windows control panel and   
   either choose a different color scheme or change the background color   
   for all windows on that users computer.   
      
   Another option would be to turn down the brightness on her monitor. In   
   some cases, if the room is poorly lit, just brightening the room helps   
   ease the stress on the eyes.
