   sean, I will clarify here that posting code that is modified and not tested   
   is not a good practice.   
      
   I'll go on to point out that the 'modern user' asking questions often posts   
   code that bears no resemblance to the code they want help with - and this   
   often ends up wasting the time of the volunteer who is helping them free of   
   charge.   
      
      
   I've been around for some time, like a number of the other people reading   
   here, and have supported thousands of people with batch file requests.   
      
   I'm not being narky about some trivial thing in an attempt to annoy you -   
   I'm pointing out bad practices in asking programming questions that I've   
   seen many times, and that just wasted the time of the people helping them.
