   I remember an excel protection that was using a "fake space", i.e. Alt+255,   
   as name of a hidden file   
      
   using NU was quite easy to rename it, copy to the backup floppy and revert   
   to the original filename   
      
   just one question: the OP empty filename file has an extension?
