   I don't think DOSBox qualifies as ye old monochrome text, particularly   
   when color is in use elsewhere on the screen via ANSI.SYS.  (Or more   
   specifically DOSBox's built in support ANSI.SYS functions.)

   I'll have to review that and figure out how to compile it.  I'll likely   
   need to use MS-DOS / PC-DOS / FreeDOS tools to compile that as DOSBox   
   doesn't come with much at all.

   DOSBox is not traditional COMMAND.COM nor CMD.EXE.  It's some sort of   
   loose emulation of a combination of them.
