     If you care, the Michael and Mary voices were made   
   available by someone as an XP installable. There are   
   also other voices. Probably all of them could be put   
   on XP but it requires putting the file into...   
      
   C:\Program Files\Common Files\SpeechEngines\Microsoft\TTS\[language ID]\   
      
   ...and then adding a few Registry settings.
