From: nobody@nowhere.com              If it wasn't for Vassar, I don't think I would have ever gotten into       bluegrass and folk music.              It started with the Circle Album...       Next came Old and in the Way (I recognised the carved fiddle head on       the album cover)       John Hartford's Aereoplane next...       I was hooked from then on.              I had heard recently about his health...              The only thing I can say is that he brought a lot of enjoyment of       music into my life that I probably would not have had otherwise. For       that I am eternally grateful (pun intended).              Now he and John Hartford, Bill Monroe, Jerry Garcia, and too many       other great pickers can get together and jam in heaven and bring us       more "blue" skies, and chase away the clouds.              Thank you, Vassar       Tom M.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
