   Public speaking scares the poop out of most folks and I'd guess most of   
   us can relate to that BIG step back.    
   Being a bit of an actor can help too. When on stage I tend to be   
   Ron-the-singer,   
      
   or Ron-the-dancer, or Ron-the-Jersey-Devil; then the pressure is on the   
   character rather than "me."   
      
   Anyway, in thinking about my movement statement, I feel the need to   
   add: but ALWAYS pay attention to your other instrument ...the microphone.   
   As a sound guy I've lost a lot of hair over folks that get into the music   
   and forget about the mic'.  SO many things to think about when on stage!   
   Small wonder they should look "so-darned-serious."
