I realize that the post was before the mine incident and my original post
was not directed toward Helen thinking she was insensitive about that
particular event. I have never in my bluegrass tenure heard any other
bluegrasser try to take that approach about a culture and a group of people,
in order to make a "funny". West Virginia is rich in bluegrass. The
contributions of West Virginians to bluegrass cannot be measured. Having
said that, I would also like to retract my statements posted earlier and
say,"As person very proud of my roots, the people and culture, I can tell
you we are more than what the original post suggest".

Come visit us. Summerville and many more great bluegrass events take place
in our great state each year. And before I forget, "GO ERRRRRS............"
   2005 Sugar Bowl Champs.
