   Just thought I'd give a little update. The festival was a lot of fun and   
   a great success. Rhonda Vincent put on an outstanding performance, as   
   did Pine Mountain Railroad, Nothin' Fancy, Mike and Amy Finders, The   
   Wilders (after Rhonda, probably my favorite), Alecia Nugent, Pete and   
   Joan Wernick, and all of the other main stage performers.   
   The secondary stage was also loads of fun. These were all local people   
   including bands of people I get to jam with regularly. My band had a   
   good performance, and I also got to play during a Louisiana Songwriters   
   performance. I played a song I'd written for my wife when we first   
   started dating. This was a country song on guitar. But I played banjo to   
   back up all the others, and it was great fun.   
   I'm already looking forward to next year!
