   Why did you even begin stating you are a white liberal democrat? who   
   cares? or did you feel the need to make sure we understood that you are   
   "different" from the typical bluegrass fan?   
      
   I don't know why there are so few minority bluegrass fans. But I assume   
   it simply doesn't appeal to them in large numbers. Am I concerned that   
   there is some sinister plot to keep them out? no.   
      
   It's just a style of music. It appeals to me. Do I care for rap/hiphop?   
   no. Is it because I'm white? no. It just doesn't appeal.   
      
   I'm not looking to music to somehow make things right. I just play and   
   listen.
