   Thanks to all the responders (in all of the groups I posted   
   the original question to).   
      
   I had already found a webpage (FiddleFork) that has forums on   
   fiddle, but I really don't find the web-based forums nearly   
   as convenient as traditional "usenet"-type newsgroups.  I was   
   hoping that maybe I had overlooked one somehow, but apparently   
   not.
