|    Fingering in the key of B    |

XPost: rec.music.makers.bowed-strings       From: mlfasf@comcast.net              A lot of bluegrass fiddle is played in the key of       B, but none of my instruction videos talk about       how to finger the notes in that key. In just       looking at the positions on the fingerboard of all       the notes needed in the major scale, it appears that       either the first or second position will work OK.       Which alternative do most fiddlers use (at least       most of the time)?               Mike Fontenot              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
