   Well not ubiquitous, but, Brahms First Trio is in B. and a lot of   
   sections of works titled with some other key will modulate into B   
   major. True, B minor (two sharps) or B flat major (two flats) are   
   indeed far more frequent.   
      
   If you play in any significant symphony orchestra which takes on the   
   the entire repertory you will run into 5 and 6 sharps or flats and   
   occasional section might even have 7 (which are the enharmonic of   
   other simpler keys...done more for the sake of musical "grammar.")
