   I've been away for a few days, so I hope I am not repeating what anyone else   
   might have said.   
      
   There is or was an excellent thing called FiddleL. (Stands for fiddle list)   
   That was or is the best place for fiddlers to exchange information.   
      
   I am a fiddler, but I like it here. As far as usenet news groups you can   
   fragment stuff as much as you like until it's only you and a friend. That's   
   what happens when you take something like this and the fiddlers go here and   
   the violinists go there and the cellists go someplace else.   
      
   Make a fiddle group. Get six fiddlers. One plays blue grass, another plays   
   old timey etc and soon each of them goes off and makes a bg fiddle group an   
   old timey fiddle group and soon you wait two weeks between posts.   
      
   I like hearing what people do other than just the music I play. I get all I   
   need of that by just going to class, or a session.
