   One issue of course is the diversity within Bluegrass. Trying to   
   "define" the sound is problematic and in my opinion not of any benefit. I   
   think that any band that is willing to call themselves a bluegrass band   
   (since clearly their motive is not money) should be allowed under the   
   tent. Unless maybe they have a horn section ... :)   
      
   The other issue would be not compromising the bluegrass experience JUST   
   to draw more folks in. We all are drawn to the music for our own reasons.   
   Some folks may simply just not like the music ... that's why we have the   
   diversity of music that we do.   
      
   So. Let bluegrass be what it is. Let folks like it or not. Just share it   
   with folks when you can. and most of all ... Enjoy!
