   Actually, several years ago I heard (and taped) an instrumental   
   being played on a local bluegrass radio show that consisted   
   mostly of a banjo and a bass, maybe with a little guitar   
   accompaniment.  But after a little listening, it became obvious   
   that the bass was actually a tuba.  Sounded good.
