   It's hard to determine which mandolin you are talking about from the   
   link you provided.  But an acoustic/electric mandolin requires a cable   
   between the mandolin and amplifier as well as an acoustic amplifier.   
   You will be disappointed in the tone if you do not get an "acoustic"   
   amplifier.
