   Not at all.  If people were really driven to the exotic the entire human   
   race would be a pale brown colour.  I have not been in the military but I am   
   one of those who is attracted to other races and have bred and raised   
   children with them.  Trust me, interracial marriages are still frowned upon   
   by the vast majority of people in any society.   
      
   I was referring to Darwin's theory of sexual selection that has been amply   
   proven by many, many experiments in the field of developmental psychology.   
   The theory explains the sharp divisions between different types of humans   
   (races if you will) and the reason that those divisions persist.  As with   
   all human behaviour that results from biology, cultural evolution will   
   change this in the future.  But I doubt that will happen until human   
   cultural evolution gets rid of things like nationalism, national pride,   
   national borders, religions and all the other aspects of world culture that   
   keep people apart.
