|    mandolin recommendations    |

From: jgreen@nospam.magma.ca              Hi Folks,       I am in the market for a mandolin and was wondering what to look for       when purchasing. I need one that can project fairly well as I will be       using it mostly for busking - also one that I would actually be able       to afford : )              I am a fairly new player and had to really cram to learn enough in       time do some recording for some work I was doiong but realized I had       fallen in love with the sound and now would like to do more serious       playing. I tried an Ovation and didn't really like it at all - also       rented and Epiphone and it had a nicer sound but still not as "woodsy"       as I was looking for.              Any recommendations as to what to consider in the selection would be       great.       Thanks       Joanne       www.madhousewives.com              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
