      From: braymil@gmailNOSPAM.com              Joseph,              Actually, Lane's suggestion has been talked about before and is meant to       get the wood vibrating and keep it vibrating. I think the theory is       that it is some "x" amount of vibration that is required for the guitar       to open up. I purchased a HD28-LSV about a year ago and my final       selection came down to this guitar and a D18-GE. I have no idea if my       guitar has opened up - even any at all. When I bought it I thought that       it sounded great and I still think it sounds great each time I play it.        My thought is to play the guitar and enjoy it, I'll bet it will       sound great everyday.
