Eddie and Martha played at the Josh Graves benefit at the Gibson   
   Showcase in Nashville last Saturday.  He seemed to have a great   
   attitude.  He played well and sang well.  He did have a stand for his   
   banjo.  Martha and a stage hand did most of the moving things around.   
   He didn't miss his beer though.   
      
   I talked to him a few minutes and he said he was doing a little better   
   every day and that with all major surgery it just takes some time.
