An effective Bluegrass guitar player needs to be heard       - he/she is competing for "ears" with the fiddle and the 5-string.       Therefore, the volume of the the guitar is important. Unfortunately,       many Bluegrass guitar players (particularly beginners) tend the thrash       and hammer their guitars in a feeble attempt to garner more volume from       their instruments thus producing rather undesirable results.              Yet another $.02 worth from a Bluegrass music fan since in the womb and       proud owner of a Martin D-28DM, vintage D-18, vintage Gibson J-45 and a       Gibson RB-3 wreath...              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
