From: Finmeister@webtv.net               While working for the Navy in Bremerton, WA, I found this waldzither       last October on a day off work while visiting an antique shop in Tacoma.       It looks like a mandola, but it has a ninth string for the bass string.       I'm trying to find out where I can find some strings for it. The strings       are looped on both ends. I'm thinking on tuning it like a mandolin and       playing it that way.Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated. I've       sent messages to the web sites I've found, but no one has answered yet.        By the way, for whatever it's worth, bluegrass music is alive and well       in the state of Washington. I picked n' jammed myself ragged while       working there.        Thanks,        Finley C.
