Wilene "Sally Ann" Forrester was a member of Monroe's band during the
war year, from approximately 1943 - 45. She performed on the Feb. 13,
'45 Chicago recording session; six songs were released: Rocky Road
Blues, Kentucky Waltz, True Life Blues, Goodbye Old Pal, Footprints in
the Snow and Bluegrass Special. Come Back To Me In My Dreams and I'll
Have A New Life were also recorded, but were not released at the time.

Both Scruggs and Flatt joined the band in mid-1945, after Wilene left
   the band.
