What are you seeking out in a "jam"?              or... perhaps better stated... what to you would truly       constitute a Jam?              For me personally... being still relatively new to       bluegrass... I enjoy just listening and playing along.       Some jams I've been to were more old time country than bluegrass,       so those were not AS exciting.. but still interesting.              My primary background has been guitar... but I've decided to branch       out and am now playing mandolin and squareneck dobro now as well.
