I'm heading the other direction and commencing a boycott of all "organized"
participatory musical events. I intend to buy a boombox and jam with all
the best musicians from any time and place in history with or without
electricity. If I desire electricity where it is otherwise unavailable, I
use an RV battery which I always keep charged, just for that purpose. I can
also burn original accompanying CDs at home and take them with me. Living
humans are, apparently, only capable of "screwing up" the creative process.

The only bluegrass jam I ever really enjoyed was in the most liberal town in
our area, had about 12 *extremely* good players, which included some
non-standard instruments such as an alto sax(!) played softly enough to
work. It was like a bluegrass chamber orchestra and a full-house Saturday
night crowd seemed to enjoy it thoroughly. It was the only bluegrass jam at
which I was not interfered with, and I was paid many compliments for weeks
   thereafter.

Miraculously and most ironically, ALL ANYONE HAS TO SAY OR DO IS NOTHING!
