Oh ok - I read an interview online (quite some time ago too) - that
said he'd died and his son had "taken up the cause" - the interviewer
had phoned him up and noted in the interview he was more subdued than
   his father was.

If anyone knows they are in sin (or fools themselves they are not) and
doesn't make the slightest effort to turn away from it (repent), the
Bible says quite clearly... that He will reward every man according to
the works done in our bodies.

It also speaks of Heaven being a reward for the righteous.

   Acts 10:35
But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is
   accepted with him.

And speaking of righteousness... Romans 1:17-18 says:

17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to
faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all
ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in
   unrighteousness;

It goes on to tell us *who* holds the "truth in unrighteousness", but
first tells us these people have "their foolish heart darkened" and
think they are wise, when really they are fools. Then it points the
finger directly at them starting in verse 24...

Homosexuals - who are idolators - who have vile affections - and who
do what is against nature. If we had any doubt about who is meant,
verse 27 tells us clearly... "men leaving the natural use of the
woman, burned in their lust one toward another; *MEN* WITH *MEN*"...

Then a bunch of other things are mentioned - and verse 32 says
although they KNOW the judgement of God, that they are worthy of death
   - they not only continue to practice their evil, but find pleasure in
associating with others who do practice the same evil things.

   Seems pretty clear to me.
