   I haven't been keeping track of the scene in Quebec for a while but i've got   
   some recordings you might want to look into :   
      
   Mylene Farmer's "Les Mots". She's a pop star in France but she was born in   
   Canada. This double CD contains all of her hits from the 80's and 90's   
   including a bilingual duet with Seal. She dabbles in everything, from soft   
   ballads to grunge rock.   
      
   Marie Denise Pelletier's "Les Grandes Ballades". Her best ballads on one CD.   
      
   Garou's "Seul". Some rock, some pop and the excellent duet with Celine Dion   
   entitled "Sous Le Vent". Also includes the title trck hit by Luc Plamondon.   
      
   Joe Bocan's "Regard". Her greatest hits. 80's rock/pop/ballads.   
      
   BTW, in case you didn't know, Celine Dion will be releasing a french CD on   
   the 14th called "1 fille & 4 types". Haven't heard it yet but the first   
   single, "Tous L'Or Des Hommes" sounds great.
