XPost: alt.music.blues, alt.music.country.classic, alt.music.eighties       XPost: alt.music.festivals, alt.music.france       From: whitelight.studios@virgin.net              After the critically acclaimed success of their debut album Sweethearts of       the Rodeo, Dogkennel Hill have announced plans for the release of their       follow up album, due to be released in autumn 2004.              Recording is now well under way and promises to be quite a marked shift from       the country style of its predecessor.              The album (as yet untitled) will have a much darker edge, and have a       distinctly European alternative feel.              It is intented that the band will tour to coincide with the release, and       possibly some London and Paris dates will be announced towards the back end       of summer.              The line up is still to be confirmed, but will feature Tim on Vocals and       Guitar. Guy has now left the band, and most likely will be replaced by D.D.       (formerly of And Also the Trees).              The Sweethearts album will continue to be made available via       www.dogkennelhill.com        or via       www.amazon.co.uk              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
